The UKMS Vision
INTENT
The UK Military School’s intent is to equip every child with the skills they require for life and support schools by enriching their curriculum.
Our vision is to ensure we develop their personal skills to:
Become resilient
Participate well within a team.
Carry confidence regardless of the task
Be aspirational and strive for success.
Have a positive attitude towards learning and life in general

IMPLEMENTATION
Our instructors/mentors deliver a variety of projects designed to challenge children to be their best.
Implementation of any project is child and school led. As the weeks progress, UKMS review the progress of every learner alongside school staff. Focusing on the needs of the class and children, we tailor-make sessions to ensure the best outcomes are achieved. This way, we target every need creating a robust plan.
We listen, evaluate the best delivery, and then implement a plan to achieve the greatest impact.

IMPACT
Every school will receive an Impact Report evidencing the progress each learner has made throughout the training.
Using a questionnaire that focuses on personal development, behaviour and welfare, we benchmark progression from mission start to end.
Our results show 97.3% of school children have improved their overall attitude to learning, boosted moral and become more resilient. Children also work better in teams and, for many pupils, the barrier towards learning has been overcome.

SKILLS FOR LIFE

As a school leader, I cannot recommend UK Military School highly enough for the transformational impact they have had on our children. Wayne and his dedicated team brought an energy and professionalism that immediately engaged both staff and students. Through their carefully crafted activities, our pupils developed resilience and confidence in ways we could never have anticipated.
The sessions were fascinating and deeply impactful, focusing on essential life skills such as risk-taking, team-building, and effective communication. What stood out most was their use of the ‘emotional barometer,’ which encouraged our children to identify, manage, and express their emotions in constructive ways.
Wayne’s ability to build strong, positive relationships with our children was remarkable. His encouragement and leadership created an atmosphere of trust and motivation, empowering every pupil to step outside their comfort zones and discover their potential.
UK Military School has made a lasting difference in our school community, and I am excited to see the ongoing benefits of their incredible work. They are a true asset to any educational setting seeking to foster resilience and emotional growth in their pupils.
